SPIRITUAL IMMATURITY

Every man and woman of God in these end times has a specific assignment, when God anoints you, He anoints you for specific things, and sometimes for specific people.

When the people around you are changing, becoming more good or more evil,  that is a sign that the season is changing. Seasons are marked by signs – signs give directions, signs give instructions. If the people around you are not changing with you, becoming more committed to Christ, that means they are not part of your next season, that’s a sign that you have to choose new friends!

They are not evil or bad people, it just means that where God is taking you, they cannot come. Most people, even atheists, are familiar with the word ‘blessings’ – all my life, I have never met anyone who does not like that word.

We cannot dismiss the word ‘blessing’, it’s part of our vocabulary But what is missing today in the word blessing, both in the secular and church world is the word “Supernatural!”

We cannot really talk about the blessing of God without understanding that the Blessing of God is Supernatural. All the blessings of God are Supernatural, and if it’s not Supernatural, then it’s not from God.

God’s gift to mankind is time: God didn’t give us money, He gave us time to earn money, time to build relationships, time to understand His purposes for us – time is Supernatural.

“We were made in the image of God”, image is the root word for imagination, let me tell you, if you have no imagination, you have missed God. Imagination is the only area of any human life that has no limits, no restrictions, and no boundaries, the only place where your faith makes sense is in your imagination (imagine you are like Jesus!)

Imagination has eyes and it is the area where the faith of God can work; a person who lives by faith will always have a good imagination and good expectation, for faith can have a projection of the plans and purposes of God for us.

Your prosperity is not tied to your reason, it is tied to your imagination. Many have a poor image of themselves because they lack imagination – the problem is because they hang around people who were assigned to pull them out of their imagination.

Eph 3:20-21

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

We have a generation of people who go to church but have lost their faith, and because of that, we have a generation that have lost the Supernatural.

God is changing the dimension of faith and the church because of the challenges that we face everyday – the faith that we had five years ago will not work in today’s world, many want to live in the year 2021 with a year 2000 faith, that is not just possible.

We as a church are coming into the “Fullness of Time”, even as the world comes into her fullness of time. Fullness for the church means holiness is becoming complete, fullness for the world means wickedness is getting from  worse to worst.

The Church should speed up its coming to the fullness of Gods time – holiness and righteousness, victory and prosperity. But why do many in the church seem to be going into the fullness of the world’s time, becoming wicked?

Matt 24:10-13

At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.               12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,

Jer 2:13

“My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.”

The Three Greatest Frustration For A Pastor In The People:

1. Lack Of Commitment

2. Lack Of Fruits In The Person’s Life

3. Immaturity Of The People

Of these three frustrations, none can be greater than the immaturity of the people. Simply put, it is very difficult to work with someone who doesn’t want to go any further. How do you motivate or push someone who doesn’t want to change, or to grow, or to mature? I believe maturity is a choice.

Even with Jesus on board, He will never push anyone to do something they are not willing to do, that’s your own personal choice, He lets you decide for yourself. There may also be some people who have their own frustrations with the Pastor; many of whom feel so because they think they are being pushed to become somebody which they think they are not.

But if you can only see or discern the potential that God has put in many of you; yet when you are being squeezed so that it would come out, you get frustrated and angry.

Let me say this to you – many of you sitting here today are multi-millionaires, but you don’t know you are millionaires. God will never bless anything He didn’t ordain – if you only understand the power of a Man of God releasing your blessing.

Many misunderstood the blessing to be consent. Consent is giving the child permission for something to happen or be done, it is to agree to do or to allow something.

It is an agreement about an opinion or about something that will happen or will be done, it means it’s up to you.

But blessing is endorsing them in what they are doing, it is approval that allows or helps you to do something.

Blessing is the act or words of one that  blesses,  gives approval and encouragement.

Blessing is help and approval from God that brings happiness,  it is a benediction,  a laying on of hands where transference occurs.

When a legal authority from the Kingdom of God blesses you, that’s powerful!

What is spiritual immaturity?

Simply put it, spiritual immaturity means it is the flesh that is manifesting!

What is the profile of an immature person?

1. EASILY OFFENDED

Immaturity is the root cause of all offenses whether spiritual or emotional, it is the base of all offense because it is focused solely on ‘self’ and ‘ego.’

There is no place you can go where you will not be offended because God will allow you to be offended in order for you to mature.

Luke 17:1

Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! NKJV

Matt 15:12-14

12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?” 13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”

The leaders of Israel were all offended at Jesus, that’s why in their immaturity, they crucified the King of Glory. The devil gets the edge when the Christians today make crazy and stupid decisions, simply because they were offended!

Keeping an offense means you are living in the past.

By living in the past, you are withholding any move of God into your life – every move of God is in the now, but you are in your ‘yesterday’; God is not in your yesterday, He is in the NOW!

An offended person is like a muddy, murky waters where nothing flows, everything just stinks in that murky water of offense and bitterness. There is the danger that you could get hurt again once you open yourself to release any offense, but that is the only way you can receive new things again.

2nd SIGN OF IMMATURITY:

WHEN THEY ARE UNSTABLE IN ALL THEIR WAYS

A person who is unstable means he has uncontrollable emotions, we also call it mood swings.

James 1:5-8

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

Gal 4:1-2

Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, 2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. NKJV

God accepts the fact that there were times of immaturity among His children, maybe that’s why even the wise virgins fell asleep. But God is saying, immaturity has an expiration date, the grace period is coming to the end – God is waiting for all of us to change: angal ng angal, bulong ng bulong, marumi isip, marumi puso, marumi bibig, maramot, etc, etc – is that you?

You will see the difference between the servant and the son; the servant has no legacy, nor does he have any inheritance from the Father – immature people are like that!

Servants have no part in the Father – but the time is coming when the servants are maturing.

This is the time!

Only when one is matured will God release their inheritance – God will give to us the fullness of all His promises in the Saints. But if not, we will only be repeating our old cycles, we will experience the greatest consequence of remaining immature: we will miss our destiny and we will never see in full what the Lord has promised us.

1 Cor 13:11-12 NKJV

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
