BOLD AS A LION –SWIFTER THAN AN EAGLE
1 Tim 4:1
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, NKJV
The word depart means to leave, to deviate, to oppose.
People today call many things as faith but they are actually living in the replacements. Replacement means they call something as faith but in reality it is not true faith but a replacement of faith.
An example of this is optimism.
Optimism is a feeling or belief that good things will happen in the future; it’s a feeling that what you hope for will happen.
Another is positive thinking.
It is thinking that a good result will come out – both of which are not faith but replacements of faith!
But where is it based?
If they are just based on what the political leaders say, or what the economy says, your thinking and your feeling is not based on true faith, it is worldly and unstable.
Faith is Supernatural, you think it’s natural but it is not, it is the only legal entry point into the realm of the Supernatural. The replacements make faith to be but a natural formula that we can follow so we can get connected to God – thru man’s efforts.
Like yoga; it teaches that if we concentrate hard enough, we can get through to the world of the Supernatural.
When we have the replacements, it will always be lacking one thing, the Supernatural Power of God, we cannot be without that in the coming year. When your faith is not founded and established in the Person of Jesus Christ, these three things will happen to you when the situations become tough in 2021:
1st You Will Be Easily Shaken.
Fear, doubt, and confusion will always cloud what you believe, you would question what the man of God says; even what you used to believe!
2nd You Will Be Open To Other Points Of View.
Why do you think there exist today a teaching of super grace, same sex marriage, LGBTQ friendly church?
3rd You Will Be Open To Other Opinions.
This is the primary reason why many, even born-again Christians are still being deceived by false teachings of Islam, Dating daan, etc. Jesus warned that even the elect would be deceived.
Matt 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect – if that were possible.
Let me tell you what true faith is: it is the marriage of belief and trust that gives birth to obedience. True faith is so much a part of a person that it can only be taken by death.
The difference between true faith and mere belief is the difference between being true and being a pretender who has deluded himself in order to appease his conscience.
Faith is able to move mountains, and it will move anyone who stands in its way – true faith makes a road where there is none, that is why true faith is true freedom; no shackle can be put in it.
True faith is measured by how much you trust in God, how much of His Word do you obey, and how much you honor His servants – especially the prophets. If you want your faith to be strong in this coming new year, you cannot base your faith on man’s traditions, or on what has become overly familiar to you.
Tradition is a mindset that is passed on from one generation to another, but they have no understanding as to why they are doing it – like the translasyon. We pass on beliefs and teachings, then we tell the next generation to follow it, but the people themselves don’t know why they are doing it – like Simbang gabi!
Neither can they tell of the goodness that that tradition has done for them, like paputok or palusis!
Mark 7:13
…making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do. NKJV
Traditions have such power that can make the Word of God of no effect even if they are irrelevant to the people of our times, it kills revelation that they receive nothing new from heaven.
Man falls into bondage when they choose to cling to their traditions, they fall into the enemy’s deception and have lost the most valuable thing they possess – their faith.
Many say they follow the faith of their parents because their parents are Christians – you cannot be established in your faith simply because your parents are Christians.
The only way you can be established is when you yourself have faith in God – you need to personally believe, trust, and obey. Tradition blocks the power of God because the people no longer inquire and seek Gods heart as to the things that He desires for us!
Because they no longer seek His heart, they are unable to do anything new anymore but instead they just rely on the same things they have done in the past.
People think that traditions are formulas handed to them that will cause the blessing to flow because they believe that that is what God wants. But in reality, traditions have actually blocked the power of God so nothing flows. The result is more bondage, more sins, more defeats!
Gal 3:1
You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.
Gal 3:2
I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?
Gal 3:3
Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?
Paul is asking the Galatians, What is the origin and the foundation of your faith? Our faith must be founded only in the Person of Jesus Christ, in His finished work, and not on material things for material things are temporal. Only Jesus Christ is eternal and outside of Jesus there can be no faith.
People today talk about miracles – the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, even the dead come back to life. Let me tell you: none of these is new. What is new is, we have technology to make it global.
Can you imagine if they had you tube in the time of Jesus?
Technology is a sign:
Dan 12:4
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many will go here and there, and knowledge shall increase.”
Technology is given to men because God wants to accelerate things – so we can quickly return to God’s original intent.
God desires ACCELERATION!
When Adam fell, intellectualism became the norm in the world – you must study, seek and learn because there is an explanation for everything. But intellectualism drives away and covers revelation, it kills the signs and wonders in the person’s life!
We are living in a generation where revelation is outdated, where everything has to be explained. But when a man has revelation, he is current with God!
A true sign doesn’t point to itself, it points to what is ahead, there is something coming up ahead we haven’t seen or heard – we need to be prepared for that. I believe that God wants to restore us to the way He originally planned – divine health and divine prosperity, His divine order – and technology is a tool!
The Church has learned to live and to survive without the power, this is because when the people come to church they only have tradition. They have no expectation of the presence and the power of God to show up, no signs and wonders or miracles, just singing, long sermons; offering.
“He is not going to come to perform miracles, show signs, cause wonders – traditionally, that has never happened before, so what would make this service any different?”
This is the traditional mindset, no expectation!
This is what’s happening to seeker friendly churches, and people flock there because these churches are non-offensive! The Supernatural church is offensive to the seeker-friendly church simply because it contradicts everything that is in the heart and mind of the carnal Christian living in tradition.
2 Tim 3:5
“having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.”
The problem with just having the form is, the form does not heal anybody, it does not transform lives, it does not change the mind, it does not bring unity and reconciliation. It does not bring forgiveness and humility – its just knowledge, just tradition that would remain the same year after year, no change, no power!
Q? What is in the Supernatural church that is most offensive to the carnal Christian?
It is the waiting upon the Lord, the seeking of His will, the hearing of His voice to give us instructions and directions. It takes faith – belief, trust, obedience – and patience to achieve all of these; Patience is the demonstration of faith.
Heb 6:12
We do not want you to become lazy, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
It is usually our patience that starts failing first that causes us to compromise our faith – patience is faith, and impatience is the manifestation of self-will. It is so amazing that there are so many Scriptures exhorting us to wait upon the Lord – and there are so few Scriptures that encourage us to hurry.
Speed is of the devil, today everybody wants to be fast and quick – cars, internet, cellphones, travel, communication, promotion, getting rich…
Speed waters impatience in our lives, thus it continually destroys our faith because nobody wants to wait and be patient.
Speed is addictive, the faster you go, the less satisfied you are with the speed you are going – you just want to keep going faster and faster!
Why do we need to wait upon the Lord?
Because in the Lord is the key to true salvation and victory – only He has the power to fulfill all of His promises!
God is faithful to do what He said, and when we learn to wait upon Him, there will be no excuse for any true believer to lack in power!
God is a Supernatural Being, who has Supernatural powers, and He demands to be worshiped. Worshiping God is waiting upon God to do His works!
God’s power is eternal, boundless, limitless, and beyond reason, it can withstand the test of time because He was before time. If you remove the limits in your mind, then it doesn’t matter what the doctor says, or what the economy says – nothing can shake you,
Eph 3:20
God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…
When you limit God, you are bounding God, then you fall into bondage – your year will be a year of bondage and not victory. But if you remove the limit by faith and patience, 2021 will be the best year ever, free and without bondage,
