Luke 21:36
“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Prayer is the place of the Presence of God,
Watch in the Bible is always related to prayer. When you are watching, nothing is sudden to you, nothing surprises you! When you come into the presence of God, you will receive revelation. Knowledge informs, but revelation transforms.
Transformation comes from the Spirit of God living in us. In this time and season, if you are forearmed with revelation you are prepared.
You don’t have the same view as the world.
We are forearmed only when we watch and pray.
We are a people of destiny.
Everything that has ever happened to you in the past, good or bad, are mere preparations for today and what lies ahead.
We are here today because God has a purpose for you ‘now’, you were not born yesterday because your assignment is for today. You were born for such a time as this, and we need to be prepared for this season.
THE SHAKING and the COMING GLORY
Hag 2:6
This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
Hag 2:7
I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with Glory,’ says the Lord Almighty.
Many of us think that only Israel is at the center of prophecy…
Yes there are things that God says directly only for Israel; but there are things that God speaks which are also for the nations.
God always speaks to three groups in the Bible: Israel, the Church, and the nations.
All these three groups will come into shaking because there are people that need to be aligned.
Wherever there are people who are not aligned to God, there’s always going to be shaking. So if something happens on a global scale, that’s BIG, so you better watch and pray.
Hag 2:7b
…and I will fill this house with Glory,’ says the Lord Almighty,
But be assured, after the shaking, the Glory will come.
Glory is the reward for all who would endure.
If the Glory had not been promised, then there is no need for the shaking!
But there is a coming Glory, that’s why there is a need for the shaking!
Isa 10:3 (shaking)
What will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? Where will you leave your riches?
Reckoning means the time when one is called to account for one’s actions, to pay one’s debts, or to fulfill one’s promises or obligations.
Joel 3:12
‘Let the nations be roused; let them advance into the Valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will sit to judge all the nations on every side.
God is shaking us to the core of our faith so that truth would manifest…
Reality dictates that not all you pray to go away will go away, for there are things we need to go through.
David said “though I walk through…”, We are all appointed to a situation that we will walk through. We are in a time right now where we are walking into something we didn’t expect to walk through.
God allows this to expose everything that isn’t real in our lives, during this time, whatever isn’t real will crumble like dust. Faith that looks to things is idolatry, that kind of faith is going to crumble.
God is overturning the economy of man and we are watching it take place right before our eyes. God is striking now the Pharaohs of the earth – that’s why it’s global.
Bruce Allen: What are we doing to prepare our hearts?
A steady diet of daily news will feed you death and fear;
A steady diet of the Word of God will build faith and assurance in this time of need.
Today, God is testing our hearts…because people today, yes even Gods people have put their faith on the economies of men. That’s why God had to shake it!
God is shaking so we would know that “The earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof.” Ps. 24:1
God owns everything and He can turn any and every situation upside down…
God can turn the stock market upside down, the businesses, the industries…
Look at where the world is right now in just a matter of three months – recession!

The prophets are warning of a pandemic that will happen after this covid19;
That would make our situation today look like child’s play – Prophet Sadhu and John Paul Jackson.
Bruce Allen: This is a dry run, God wants us to be light in the midst of darkness…
This is easy compared to what is coming!
I’m not saying this to put fear on anyone – NO!
We are saying this so we would all prepare.
We are given this year 2020 just for that, let’s not waste this period of grace.
The Ten Plagues: Shaking
God has two purposes for sending the plagues during their time:
1st To show the Israelites and the world that the God of their fathers was alive and all powerful and is worthy of all their worship.
The 2nd To show the Egyptians that their gods were nothing.
The Egyptians worshiped a variety of nature gods and attributed to their powers their protection & blessings- (Pinoy patron saints)
The 1st plague: blood
This is against Apis, the god of the Nile, it was the basis of daily life and of the national economy of Egypt.
This is judgment on the national economy…
2nd Plague: frogs
Hekt was a frog headed goddess who personified generation, birth, and fertility.
This is judgment against the generational sins of the forefathers!
3rd plague: gnats or lice
Set or Seth was the god of the desert and the god of war; he is the defender in times of war and the blesser of the land.
God cursed the land!
4th plague: flies
goddess Uatchit is known as the goddess of the flame and the noon day heat. She guards all life in the Nile Delta.
The lifespan of a fly is only 40 days – Baal Zebub.
5th plague: livestock
Hathor was the mother or consort of the sky god Horus and the sun god Ra, both of whom were connected with kingship, and thus she was the symbolic mother of their earthly representatives, the pharaohs. (corrupt leaders)
6th plague: boils
Isis– Egyptian Goddess of health, medicine and peace, she was the healer!
The sixth Egyptian plague is given, for the first time, directly attacking the Egyptian people themselves.
7th plague: hail
Nut a goddess of the sky, and weather vault of the heavens. As the goddess of the sky, Nut swallowed the sun in the evening and gave birth to it again in the morning.
8th plague: locusts
Seth is a god of chaos, fire, deserts, trickery, storms, envy, disorder (infestation), violence, and foreigners in ancient Egyptian religion.
9th plague: darkness
Ra was the primary name of the sun god of Ancient Egypt. Considered to be the King of the Gods and thus the patron of the pharaoh. He was also described as the creator of everything.
10th plague: death of the first born
This was judgment against all the gods of Egypt who really cannot protect those who come and worship them.
God has put the economies of the world today on her knees in just over three months.
Q? Who do you trust, your pocket, your doctor or God?
Who is your source, God or your job?
It’s sad to see how the people of God have the same fear as the people of the world. The internet and messenger are full of ways to prevent the virus!
Many church leaders are telling their people to be protected and stay safe – that’s not bad; and many really did just that, they stayed safe away from what God wanted them to do.
In all the first 9 plagues, Israel was protected by virtue of being God’s people…
But the 10th plague required for them an act of faith…
They are to go out, take an animal, one year old without defect – pointing to Christ.
1 Cor 5:7b
For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
During the time of Moses, anyone who was an Israelite and had a lamb can be saved…not today!
Remember the 10 virgins!
Ex 12:23
When the Lord goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, He will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and He will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down.
Today: its anyone who receives and believes in His Name…Jn 1:12
It’s for anyone who takes up his cross and follow Christ… Mat 16:24
It’s to him who overcomes… Rev 2:12
Rev 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
The Church has something that the world doesn’t have,
Mark 16:17
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
Mark 16:18
they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
This is the Supernatural NOW!
Dan 9:24
“Seventy ‘sevens’ are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.
Num 23:21-22
“He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The Lord his God is with him, And the shout of a King is among them.

To live by faith and not by sight…
